Musnad Abu Ya'la al-Mawsili 155:237

Ahmad ibn Ibrahim al-Mawsili narrated to us, Nuh ibn Qays narrated to us, from Abdullah ibn 'Awn, from Muhammad ibn Sirin, from Abu Hurayrah, from the Prophet of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace), that he said to the delegation of 'Abd al-Qays: "I forbid you from the *naqir* (hollowed-out log), the *hantam* (green glazed jar), the *duba'* (gourd), the *muzaffat* (pitch-coated vessel), and the *mazadah* (leather water skin) that has been cut off. But drink from your water skin and tie its mouth."
