Abu Khaythama narrated to us, Jarir narrated to us, Yahya bin Sa'id Abu Hayyan al-Taymi narrated to us, from Abu Zur'ah bin 'Amr bin Jarir, from Abu Hurayrah, who said: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) stood among us one day and mentioned the *ghulul* (misappropriation of spoils of war), and he magnified its matter. Then he said: "O people, let me not find one of you coming on the Day of Resurrection with a camel on his neck that has a braying sound, saying: 'O Messenger of Allah, help me!' And I will say: 'I possess nothing for you against Allah; I have already conveyed [the message] to you.' Let me not find one of you coming on the Day of Resurrection with a sheep on his neck that has a bleating sound, saying: 'O Messenger of Allah, help me!' I will say: 'I possess nothing for you against Allah; I have already conveyed [the message] to you.' Let me not find one of you coming on the Day of Resurrection with a horse on his neck that has a neighing sound, saying: 'O Messenger of Allah, help me!' I will say: 'I possess nothing for you against Allah; I have already conveyed [the message] to you.' Let me not find one of you coming on the Day of Resurrection with a soul on his neck that has a crying sound, saying: 'O Messenger of Allah, help me!' I will say: 'I possess nothing for you against Allah; I have already conveyed [the message] to you.' Let me not find one of you coming on the Day of Resurrection with scraps (of cloth) on his neck that are flapping, saying: 'O Messenger of Allah, help me!' I will say: 'I possess nothing for you against Allah; I have already conveyed [the message] to you.' Let me not find one of you coming on the Day of Resurrection with gold and silver (silent wealth) on his neck, saying: 'O Messenger of Allah, help me!' I will say: 'I possess nothing for you against Allah; I have already conveyed [the message] to you.'"
