Muhammad ibn Abd al-Rahman ibn Sahm al-Antaki narrated to us, Abdullah ibn al-Mubarak narrated to us, Isa ibn Yazid informed us, from Jarir ibn Yazid, from Abu Zur'ah, from Abu Hurayrah, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "A prescribed punishment (hadd) that is established on the earth is better than the rain of forty mornings."
