Zakariya ibn Yahya narrated to us, Hisham narrated to us, Ibn Shubruma narrated to us, from Abu Zur'ah, from Abu Hurayrah, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "There is no contagion, no superstitious omen, no owl (as an omen), and no Safar." A man said: "O Messenger of Allah, a spot of mange appears on the rump of a camel or its tail, and then it covers all of it with mange." The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Who infected the first one? Allah created every living creature and wrote its provision, its death, and its appointed time."
