Ibrahim ibn Muhammad ibn ‘Ar‘arah narrated to us, Isma‘il ibn ‘Abd al-Karim narrated to us, he said: ‘Abd al-Samad ibn Ma‘qil narrated to me that he heard Wahb addressing the people from the pulpit. He said: "Memorize three things from me: Beware of a followed desire, an evil companion, and a person’s self-admiration."
