Musnad Abu Ya'la al-Mawsili 155:333

Abdullah ibn Umar ibn Aban narrated to us, Muhammad ibn Fudayl narrated to us, from his father, from Abu Hazim, from Abu Hurayrah, who said: "A severe hardship afflicted me, so I met Umar ibn al-Khattab and asked him to recite a verse from the Book of Allah to me. He entered his house and recited it to me. I walked a short distance, then I fell upon my face due to the hardship. Suddenly, the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) was standing over my head. He said, 'O Abu Hurayrah!' I said, 'At your service, O Messenger of Allah, and at your aid.' He took my hand and raised me up, and he recognized what I was suffering from. He took me to his dwelling and ordered a large bowl of milk for me. I drank from it, then he said, 'Return, O Abu Hurayrah.' I returned and drank from it. Then he said, 'Return, O Abu Hurayrah.' I returned and drank until my stomach became level, as if it were a drinking cup. I saw Umar and mentioned to him what had happened to me. I said to him, 'The one who was more entitled to that than you took care of it, O Umar. By Allah, I asked you to recite the verses, and I am more knowledgeable of them than you.' Umar said, 'By Allah, that I should have brought you in [to feed you] is more beloved to me than having red camels.'"
