Bishr ibn al-Walid narrated to us, Qaza'ah narrated to us, from al-Hajjaj ibn al-Hajjaj, from Salamah ibn Junadah, from Hanash, from Abu Hurayrah, who said: We were sitting with the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, when a man came and entered with a young goat that was fat and excellent, and a young sheep that was lean and inferior. He said: "O Messenger of Allah, this is a young sheep that is lean and inferior, and this is a young goat that is fat and excellent, and it is the better of the two. Shall I offer it as a sacrifice?" He said: "Sacrifice it, for to Allah belongs the good."
