Musnad Abu Ya'la al-Mawsili 155:58

Narrated to us Mansur, narrated to us Muslim bin Khalid, from Salih bin Kaysan, from Sa'd bin Ibrahim, from Abu Salamah bin Abd al-Rahman, from Abu Hurayrah, that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "The debt of a person, when he dies, is suspended upon him until it is paid off on his behalf."
