Sa'id ibn Yahya narrated to us, my father narrated to us, Muhammad ibn 'Amr narrated to us, from Abu Salamah, from Abu Hurayrah, who said: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) prayed the dawn prayer and performed it in the darkness (before dawn). Then he prayed the next day and performed it when there was a little light. Then he said: "Where is the one who asked about the time of the prayer? The time is between these two: yesterday's prayer and today's prayer."
