Musnad Abu Ya'la al-Mawsili 147:18

Zuhayr ibn Harb narrated to us, Qutaybah ibn Sa'id al-Balkhi narrated to us, Muhammad ibn Dinar al-Tahi narrated to us, from Yahya ibn Yazid, from Anas ibn Malik, that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was asked about a man who divorced his wife three times, then she married a husband, and he died before having sexual intercourse with her. Can the first [husband] marry her? He said: "No, until he tastes her honey (i.e., has sexual intercourse with her)."
