Musnad Abu Ya'la al-Mawsili 9:17

Abu Khaythama narrated to us, al-Fadl ibn Dukayn narrated to us, Abd al-Jabbar ibn al-Abbas al-Hamdani narrated to us, from Awn ibn Abi Juhayfa, from his father, who said: The Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) was on the journey in which they slept until the sun rose. He said: "Indeed, you were dead, and Allah returned your souls to you. So whoever sleeps through a prayer, let him pray it when he wakes up, and whoever forgets a prayer, let him pray when he remembers."
