Musnad Abu Ya'la al-Mawsili 9:8

Zuhayr narrated to us, Yazid bin Harun narrated to us, Sufyan bin Husayn informed us, from al-Hakam bin Utaybah, that al-Hajjaj delayed the prayer on the day of Jumu'ah. An old man said to him, "By Allah, I have seen the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) praying, and I did not see him do as you are doing." He said: When I heard him mentioning the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace), I said, "How did you see the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace)?" He said, "I saw him come out when the sun had passed its zenith." And the old man was Abu Juhayfah.
