Hadith 9:9

Abu Khaythama narrated to us, Waki’ narrated to us, Sufyan narrated to us, ‘Awn ibn Abi Juhayfa narrated to us, from his father, who said: I came to the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, in Makkah while he was at al-Abtah in a red leather tent of his. He said: Bilal came out with his ablution water, and some of it was splashing and some was dripping. He said: Then the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, came out wearing a red garment. It is as if I am looking at the whiteness of his shanks. He said: He performed ablution, and Bilal gave the adhan. He said: I began to follow [the movement of] his mouth here and there, saying to the right and to the left, "Come to prayer, come to success." Then a short spear was planted for him, and he stood and prayed the Asr prayer as two rak'ahs. Then a donkey and a dog would pass in front of him, and he would not prevent them. He continued to pray two rak'ahs until he returned to al-Madinah.
