Ibrahim ibn Muhammad ibn ‘Ar‘arah narrated to us, ‘Abd al-Samad narrated to us, Sa‘id ibn Salamah narrated to us, Muhammad ibn al-Munkadir narrated to us, from ‘Amr ibn Sulaym, from Abu Sa‘id, that the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) said: "Ghusl (full ritual washing) on the day of Jumu‘ah is obligatory upon every Muslim, and the application of perfume if he has any."
