Musnad Abu Ya'la al-Mawsili 42:128

Hadaba narrated to us, Hammad bin Salama narrated to us, from Ali bin Zaid, from Abu Nadra, from Abu Sa’id, who said: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) delivered a sermon to us after the afternoon prayer until the setting of the sun. Those who memorized it memorized it, and those who forgot it forgot it. He praised Allah and extolled Him, then said: "To proceed: Indeed, the world is sweet and green, and Allah has made you successors in it, so He is watching how you act. Beware of the world and beware of women. Indeed, for every treacherous person, there is a banner according to his treachery, and there is no treachery greater than the treachery of the leader of a group. Indeed, the best of men is he who is slow to anger and quick to return [to a calm state], and the worst of men is he who is quick to anger and slow to return. If a man is quick to anger and quick to return, then it is [balanced] by that. And if a man is slow to anger and slow to return, then it is [balanced] by that. Indeed, the best of merchants is he who is good in repayment and good in seeking [payment], and the worst of merchants is he who is bad in repayment and bad in seeking. If a man is bad in repayment and good in seeking, then it is [balanced] by that. And if a man is good in repayment and bad in seeking, then it is [balanced] by that. Indeed, anger is a coal that burns in the belly of the son of Adam. Do you not see his eyes and the swelling of his veins? Whoever feels anything of that, let him cling to the earth. And let not the awe of people prevent any of you from speaking the truth when he knows it. Indeed, the best of Jihad is a word of truth in the presence of a tyrannical ruler." When it was near the setting of the sun, he said: "Indeed, the amount of what has passed of the world compared to what remains of it is like the amount of what has passed of our day compared to what remains of it."
