Muhammad ibn Yahya narrated to us, Fudayl ibn Sulayman narrated to us, Kathir ibn Qarunda narrated to us, he said: I heard Atiyyah al-Awfi saying: I heard Abu Sa’id al-Khudri saying: I heard the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, saying: "Indeed, the people of the high ranks will see those who are below them just as you see the brilliant star rising in the horizon of the sky. And indeed, Abu Bakr and Umar are among them, and how excellent they are."
