Abu Khaythama narrated to us, Jarir narrated to us, from al-A’mash, from ‘Umarah ibn ‘Umayr, from Qaza’ah, who said: The statement of ‘A’ishah to Abu Sa’id was mentioned, that the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) prayed two rak’ahs after the ‘Asr prayer. He said: As for me, I bear witness that I heard the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) say: "There is no prayer after the ‘Asr until the sun sets, and none after the Fajr until the sun rises."
