On the authority of Abu Sa’id, he said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "The person in ihram may kill the black snake, the scorpion, the kite, the biting dog, and the 'fuwaysiqah' (little mischievous creature)." I said: "What is the 'fuwaysiqah'?" He said: "The mouse." I said: "And what is the matter with the mouse?" He said: "The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) woke up, and it had taken the wick and climbed up with it to the ceiling."
