Zuhayr narrated to us, Jarir narrated to us, from al-A'mash, from 'Atiyyah, from Abu Sa'id, who said: The Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) said: "Indeed, the people of the high ranks are seen by those below them just as you see the rising star in the horizon of the sky. And indeed, Abu Bakr and 'Umar are among them, and how excellent they are."
