On the authority of Abu Sa’id al-Khudri, he said: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "O people of Medina, do not eat from the meat of the sacrificial animals (al-adahi) beyond three days." He said: The people of Medina complained to him that they had families (to support). He said: "Eat, feed (others), and store." And al-Jurayri said: I do not know if it is in this hadith or in another, he said: "And set aside (for later)."
