Zuhayr narrated to us, Abd al-Samad narrated to us, Hammam narrated to us, Qatadah narrated to us, [saying]: Four men narrated to me from Abu Sa’id, and five women from ‘A’ishah, that the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) forbade the nabidh (fermented drink) of the jar.
