Zuhayr narrated to us, Wahb ibn Jarir narrated to us, from Shu'bah, from Salamah ibn Kuhayl, from Abu al-Hakam: My brother narrated to me, from Abu Sa'id al-Khudri, that the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) forbade the *jar* (earthenware jar), the *duba'* (gourd), and the *muzaffat* (pitch-coated vessel). And he forbade mixing the *busr* (unripe dates) and the *tamr* (ripe dates).
