Zuhayr narrated to us, Husayn ibn Muhammad narrated to us, from Shayban, who said: Yahya informed me, from Abdullah ibn al-Fadl, that Abu Salih informed him, that Abu Sa’id informed him, that the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) sent for a man from among his companions. The man went out to him, and he intended to go to the upper chamber and performed ghusl (ritual bath) in it. The Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) said, "Did I hasten you?" He said, "O Messenger of Allah, I was between the legs of a woman and I did not ejaculate." The Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) said, "Then there is no ghusl upon you."
