Musnad Abu Ya'la al-Mawsili 42:33

Abu Bakr and Ibn Numayr narrated to us, they said: Ibn Idris narrated to us, from al-A'mash, from Abu Salih, from Abu Sa'id, who said: We said, "O Messenger of Allah, will we see our Lord?" He said, "Are you harmed in seeing the sun at midday when there are no clouds?" We said, "No." He said, "Are you harmed in seeing the moon on the night of the full moon when there are no clouds?" We said, "No." He said, "Then you will not be harmed in seeing Him, just as you are not harmed in seeing those two."
