Zuhayr narrated to us, Jarir narrated to us, from al-A’mash, from ‘Atiyyah, from Abu Sa’id, who said: I was walking with Ibn ‘Umar in al-Balat, and he passed by a man who was dragging his lower garment. He said: "I heard the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) say: 'Whoever drags his garments out of pride, Allah will not look at him on the Day of Resurrection.'" He said: I said: "I heard Abu Sa’id al-Khudri narrating this hadith from the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace)." He said: "And I also heard it from the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace)."
