Zuhayr narrated to us, Affan narrated to us, Hammad ibn Salamah narrated to us, Amr ibn Dinar informed us, from Itab, from Abu Sa’id, that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "If Allah were to withhold the rain from my nation for ten years, and then send it down, a faction of my nation would become disbelievers because of it. They would say: 'It is because of the rising of the star (al-Majdah).'"
