Zuhayr narrated to us, Jarir narrated to us, from Layth, from Shahr, who said: I came, along with men, for an 'Umrah. We passed by Abu Sa'id al-Khudri, so we entered upon him. He said: "Where do you intend to go?" I said: "We intend to go to al-Tur." He said: "And what is al-Tur? I heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) say: 'Do not pack the saddles of mounts for a mosque in which Allah is remembered, except for three mosques: the Sacred Mosque, the Mosque of Medina, and the House of Jerusalem (Bayt al-Maqdis).'" "And prayer is not appropriate at two times of the day: after the dawn until the sun rises, and after the afternoon (Asr) until the sun sets. And fasting is not appropriate on two days of the year: the day of Fitr from Ramadan and the day of Adha from Dhu al-Hijjah. And a woman shall not travel on a journey in Islam except with a husband or a mahram."
