Musnad Abu Ya'la al-Mawsili 157:1

Abu al-Rabi' narrated to us, Fulayh narrated to us, from al-Zuhri, from Abu 'Ubayd, the freed slave of 'Abd al-Rahman ibn 'Awf, from Abu Hurayrah, who said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) saying: "For one of you to bundle a bundle of firewood, then carry it upon his back and sell it, is better for him than to ask a man, who then gives him or refuses him."
