Musnad Abu Ya'la al-Mawsili 78:7

Zuhayr narrated to us, Abd al-Samad narrated to us, my father narrated to us, Ayyub narrated to us, from Humayd ibn Hilal, from Abu al-Dahma’, from Hisham ibn ‘Amir, who said: They complained to the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) about the wounds they had. He said: "Dig, make [the graves] good, make them wide, and bury two or three in one grave." And he said: "Put forward the one among them who has the most Quran." He said: So my father died, and he was placed in front of two men.
