Hadith 149:104
Zakariya narrated to us, Hushaym narrated to us, from Mujalid, from al-Sha'bi, from Masruq, who said: I asked Aisha, "Did the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) use to recite poetry?" She said: "When he entered his house, he would recite poetry. He would say: 'If the son of Adam had two valleys of gold, he would seek a third one, and nothing fills the belly of the son of Adam except dust, and Allah accepts the repentance of those who repent. Wealth was only created so that prayer may be performed through it and Zakat may be given through it.'" She said: "So we used to think that it was from what was abrogated from the Quran."
