Musnad Abu Ya'la al-Mawsili 149:120

Ibrahim narrated to us, Hammad narrated to us, from Muhammad ibn Amr, from Yahya ibn Abd al-Rahman ibn Hatib, that Aisha said: I brought to the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, some *khazira* (a dish of meat and flour) that I had cooked for him. I said to Sawda—while the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, was between me and her—"Eat." She refused. I said, "You will either eat, or I will smear your face." She refused. So I put my hand into the *khazira* and smeared her face. The Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, laughed, and he placed his hand for her and said to her, "Smear her face." The Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, laughed for her. Then Umar passed by and said, "O Abdullah! O Abdullah!" He thought he was going to enter, so he said, "Get up and wash your faces." Aisha said: I continued to fear Umar because of the awe of the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace.
