Ibrahim narrated to us, Hammad narrated to us, from Ubayd Allah ibn Umar, from Amrah bint Abd al-Rahman al-Ansariyyah, that Aisha said: "If the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) had seen what the women have introduced [of innovations/behavior] since he passed away, he would have prevented them from the mosques, just as the Children of Israel prevented their women." I have seen us praying the dawn prayer with the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) wrapped in our garments, and we would depart without any of us recognizing the faces of one another.
