Musnad Abu Ya'la al-Mawsili 149:25

Yahya ibn Ma'in narrated to us, Sa'id ibn al-Hakam narrated to us, Yahya ibn Ayyub narrated to us, he said: Yahya ibn Sa'id narrated to me, from 'Amrah bint 'Abd al-Rahman, she said: There was a woman in Makkah who was prone to joking, and she stayed with a woman like her. This reached 'A'ishah, so she said: My beloved spoke the truth. I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, saying: "Souls are recruited soldiers; those of them that recognize one another will become harmonious, and those of them that do not recognize one another will differ." He said: And I do not know but that he said in the hadith: "And that woman did not know her."
