Musnad Abu Ya'la al-Mawsili 149:82

'Abd al-A'la narrated to us, 'Uthman ibn 'Umar narrated to us, 'Uthman ibn Murrah narrated to us, from al-Qasim, who said: 'A'ishah said: I bought a cushion for the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace), and I threw it down for him. It was as if he disliked that. 'A'ishah said: "I seek refuge in Allah from the wrath of Allah and the wrath of His Messenger." He said: "What is this, 'A'ishah?" She said: "If someone enters upon you or a delegation comes to you [they will sit on it]." He said: "O 'A'ishah, indeed the companions of these images will be punished with a punishment that no one among the worlds is punished with. It will be said to them: 'Give life to what you have created.'"
