Musnad Abu Ya'la al-Mawsili 149:86

Abu Bakr ibn Abi Shaybah narrated to us, Hashim ibn al-Qasim narrated to us, from Abu Aqil, from Mujalid, from al-Sha'bi, from Masruq, from Aisha, who said: The Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) narrated a story one day. A woman among them said, "O Messenger of Allah, it is as if this story is a tale of Khurafa." He said, "Do you know what Khurafa is? Khurafa was a man from the tribe of Udhra whom the jinn captured during the Pre-Islamic period (Jahiliyyah). He remained among them for a long time, then they returned him to the humans. He used to narrate to the people the wonders he had seen among them, so the people said, 'A tale of Khurafa.'"
