Ibrahim ibn al-Hajjaj al-Sami narrated to us, Sakin narrated to us, Hawshab ibn Aqil narrated to us, from Ghunyah bint al-Radi, who said: I entered upon the Mother of the Believers, Aisha, among a group of women from Abd al-Qays. We asked her about *nabidh* (fermented drink), and she said: "May Allah not benefit you, O Abd al-Qays, with *nabidh*. The Messenger of Allah forbade the *hantam* (green glazed jars), the *dubba'* (gourds), and the *naqir* (hollowed-out logs)." She said: "But drink from the *adam* (leather skins) entirely, or whatever you have tied or hung."
