Musnad Abu Ya'la al-Mawsili 149:96

Al-Abbas ibn al-Walid al-Narsi narrated to us, Fudayl ibn Iyad narrated to us, from Mansur, from Muhammad ibn Shihab, from Urwah, from Aisha, who said: I never saw the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) take revenge for an injustice done to him at all, unless something of the sacred things of Allah was violated. If something of the sacred things of Allah was violated, he would be the most severe of people regarding that. And he was never given a choice between two matters except that he chose the easier of the two.
