Musnad Abu Ya'la al-Mawsili 159:116

Hadaba ibn Khalid narrated to us, Hammam narrated to us, Qatada narrated to us, from al-Hasan and 'Ata' ibn Abi Rabah, from Abu Hurayrah, that the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) said: "The adulterer does not commit adultery while he is a believer, and the thief does not steal while he is a believer, and the drinker does not drink wine while he is a believer." And in the hadith of 'Ata': "And he does not plunder a plunder of high value while he is a believer." He said: "Faith is stripped from him, then if he repents, Allah will accept his repentance."
