Hadith 159:120
Al-Hasan ibn ‘Umar ibn Shaqiq narrated to us, ‘Abd al-Warith narrated to us, from Layth, from ‘Ata’ and Mujahid, from Abu Hurayrah: That a man came to the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) and said, "I am ruined." He said, "And what is that?" He said, "I had intercourse with my wife during Ramadan." He said, "Free a slave." He said, "I do not find [one]." He said, "Offer a sacrificial camel." He said, "I do not find [one]." He said, "Sit down." Then a man gave the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) something, and he said, "Give this as charity, for it will suffice for you." He said, "There is no one more in need of it than my family, O Messenger of Allah." Then nineteen, or twenty, or twenty-one sa’s were brought to the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace), so he gave them to him and said, "For you and your family."
