Musnad Abu Ya'la al-Mawsili 159:122

Al-Hasan ibn Shabib al-Mu'addib narrated to us, Ali ibn Hashim narrated to us, Isma'il ibn Muslim narrated to us, from 'Ata', from Abu Hurayrah, that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "When one of you performs ablution (wudu'), let him rinse his mouth and let him clear his nose (by sniffing water into it and blowing it out). And the ears are part of the head."
