Musnad Abu Ya'la al-Mawsili 159:137

Abu Abdullah Ahmad ibn Ibrahim al-Dawraqi narrated to us, Mubashir narrated to us, from al-Awza'i, from Musa ibn Yasar, from Abu Hurayrah, that a woman passed by whose scent was wafting. He said, "O handmaid of the Compeller (al-Jabbar), is it the mosque you intend?" She said, "Yes." He said, "And for it did you apply perfume?" She said, "Yes." He said, "Then return, for I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, say: 'There is no woman who goes out to the mosque while her scent is wafting, such that Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, will accept a prayer from her until she returns and performs ghusl (ritual washing).'"
