Musnad Abu Ya'la al-Mawsili 159:89

And with his chain of narration, he said: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "The needy person is not this one who goes around among the people, whom a morsel or a date or two dates turn away." They said: "Then who is the needy person, O Messenger of Allah?" He said: "The one who does not find wealth that suffices him, and he is not noticed so that charity is given to him, and he does not stand up to ask the people."
