Musnad Abu Ya'la al-Mawsili 106:33

Khalid ibn Mirdas narrated to us, Isma'il ibn 'Ayyash narrated to us, from 'Utbah ibn Abi Hakim, from Talhah ibn Nafi', from 'Abd al-Rahman ibn Awsajah, from al-Bara', that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Adorn the Qur'an with your voices."
