Narrated to us Ishaq, narrated to us Hushaym, from Yazid ibn Abi Ziyad, from Abd al-Rahman ibn Abi Layla, from al-Bara’ who said: I saw the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, when he commenced the prayer, he said the takbir and raised his hands until they almost reached his ears. Then he did not return to that.
