Musnad Abu Ya'la al-Mawsili 106:50

Zakariya ibn Yahya narrated to us, Sharik narrated to us, from Abu Ishaq, from al-Bara’ who said: Among what they stipulated to the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, was that they would not enter Makkah except with the *jalban* of weapons. He said: And what is the *jalban* of weapons? He said: The scabbard and what is in it.
