Hadith 106:62
And with his chain of narration from Abu Ishaq, he said: I heard Al-Bara’ ibn ‘Azib say: The first of the companions of the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) to arrive were Mus’ab ibn ‘Umayr and Ibn Umm Maktum. They began to teach the people the Quran. He said: Then Bilal, Sa’d, and ‘Ammar ibn Yasir arrived. He said: Then ‘Umar ibn al-Khattab arrived with twenty of the companions of the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace). Then the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) arrived. I have never seen the people of Medina rejoice over anything as they rejoiced over the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace). He said: To the extent that the slave girls began saying, "The Messenger of Allah has arrived." He said: He did not arrive until I had recited "Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High" and other surahs from the Mufassal.
