Musnad Abu Ya'la al-Mawsili 106:63

And with his chain of narration, he said: I heard al-Bara’ say: The Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, was carrying the dirt, and the dirt had covered his stomach, while he was saying: "O Allah, were it not for You, we would not have been guided, nor would we have given charity, nor would we have prayed. So send down tranquility upon us, and make firm the feet if we meet [the enemy]. Indeed, those who have transgressed against us—" And sometimes he said: "Indeed, the assembly has refused us; if they desire a trial, we refuse." He would raise his voice with it.
