Hadith 162:9
Kamil narrated to us, al-Layth narrated to us, Abu al-Zubayr narrated to us, from Abu Ma'bad, the freed slave of Ibn Abbas, from Abdullah ibn Abbas, from al-Fadl ibn Abbas, who was riding behind the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace). He said on the evening of Arafah and the morning of Jam' (Muzdalifah): "O people, when you depart, you must maintain tranquility." And he was restraining his she-camel until, when he entered Muhassir—which is part of Mina—he said: "You must use the pebbles of al-khadhf (small pebbles) with which the Jamrah is pelted." And the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) did not cease reciting the Talbiyah until he pelted the Jamrah.
