Musnad Abu Ya'la al-Mawsili 164:11

Ibrahim ibn Muhammad ibn ‘Ar‘arah narrated to us, Muhammad ibn ‘Abbad al-Huna’i narrated to us, al-Bara’ ibn Abi Fadalah narrated to us, al-Hadrami informed us, from Abu Maryam, the foster brother of al-Jarud, who said: I was in Kufa when al-Hasan ibn ‘Ali stood up as a preacher and said: "O people, I saw something wondrous in my sleep last night. I saw the Lord, Exalted is He, above His Throne. Then the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, came until he stood at one of the legs of the Throne. Then Abu Bakr came and placed his hand on the shoulder of the Messenger of Allah. Then ‘Umar came and placed his hand on the shoulder of Abu Bakr. Then ‘Uthman came, and he was at a distance, and he said: 'O Lord, ask Your servants why they killed me.' He said: Then two gutters of blood gushed forth from the sky onto the earth. He said: It was said to ‘Ali, "Do you not see what al-Hasan is narrating?" He said: "He narrates what he saw."
