Musnad Abu Ya'la al-Mawsili 118:3

'Abd al-'Aziz ibn Abi Salamah ibn 'Ubayd Allah ibn 'Abd Allah ibn 'Umar ibn al-Khattab narrated to us, Ibrahim ibn Sa'd narrated to me, from al-Zuhri, from Anas ibn Malik: He saw a ring made of silver on the hand of the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace. He said: So the people made rings of silver. Then he cast away his ring, and the people cast away their rings.
